Grand Uniara - A Heritage Hotel

The hotel is excellent but room service and housekeeping wasn’t up to the mark. The rooftop restaurant was excellent but breakfast was below par.

Maintenance not made for the washrooms… when we enter flush are not working and it was fixed…. floor of the washroom are very slippery. Tiles should be mate finish instead of glossy

The worst was reception staff's behaviour.A Female staff named P. kalindi and Rakesh were very unpleasant and rude in talking to my visiting elder brother and did not allow him to meet me inside my room as per their hotel management policies.Upon raising a question on this , both of them were very arrogant and refused to show me any such policy.It was so very embarassing to me and my elder brother experiencing such a rude behaviour but due to the shortage of time and not to create any bigger scene , we turned down the idea of filing a police complaint against the ugly and arrogant reception staff named above.I will not recommend this property to any such person whose purpose is visiting and staying here at Jaipur is to only meet family and friends as this hotel for some strange reasons and weird policies of them will not allow any family and friend to enter your room to meet you.And pitch of their voice and tone are really need to be looked into by their management if they really want to continue running this property for a little longer time

The location, as its quiet nearer to cities all major whereto places. Also, the vibes of the place is pretty good.

The property was nice, located in a nice suburb close to many restaurants. The room was big and comfortable too.

The staff could be more hospitable. We tried to check-in early..when we travelled around Rajasthan, most hotels allowed for an early check-in at no extra charge. We were asked to pay half the room rate for checking in a couple of hours earlier. They said it was hotel policy but also the strange thing was they did not give us a receipt for it. And when it was time to checkout the people at the reception were a little rude in asking when we were checking out. I would have expected a little more from the hotel staff considering this is supposed to be a 3 star hotel!

REGRET ! I have stayed here several times. I am their returning customer still they don't bother to entertain my complaint. I booked two rooms but somehow I made booking without breakfast. The next morning I found this that breakfast isn’t included, It was put to my notice on breakfast table, to which i replied ‘fine We will pay’. But no one told me how much they will charge. (Information: +₹500 was my room with breakfast). To my surprise they charged ₹899+ GST i.e ₹943 that too per person. We are 4 people. So the total they charged me ₹3771 that is more that a room’s tariff’s. I told then just add ₹500 to my each room and made it room with breakfast. But they didn’t bother. Now imagine me being a loyal customer if they didn’t entertain me, trust me you will fit in no category, SO I WOULD REQUEST WHOEVER IS READING THIS…AVOID STAYING IN THIS PROPERTY !!! There are several great properties in Jaipur for better prices and food. (PS: their food was as pathetic as it can get. Bad food, stale taste, no variety)Mr Jitendra Singh Rathore, who was at the reception understood and believed my point but he was helpless and bound by his senior manager Pradeep. Neha, at the restaurant, she needs to understand she is in hospitality industry and not Spice market. Most mannerless lady. The hotel should have a better HR team to avoid hiring team like she is.

Structure of property was very good. Location of hotel was also very nice.

Staff was never asked for feedback since they don't care about feedback of the guest. They asked for money, like they were hungry to get money. No matter how was the service but staff was in attitude and wanted only to swipe card.Room was handed over without proper check because I heard that “Washrooms will always tell if your hotel cares about its guests”. Flush of toilet was out of order and it was become hail for family. After complaint staff had fixed it. Food was over charged against its taste and quality but again nobody from staff asked whether it was good or bad, only they wanted to get money against what they offered to eat.I will never even think of stay again. I had lot of talk regarding this, with my family and friends.They are really shocked at this.

No hot water, the room was smelling with paint, no service even after 2 3 reminder calls, the reception staff behaves as if they are doing some favour on us. But the on ground staff was very humble.

Breakfast needs improvement. Main meals are a problem for a lone traveller, they need to add a thali so that a person travelling solo may get some variety. Bathroom fittings need to be looked at, the handle of the water mixer was loose and kept falling off.

Location is perfect. Hotel ambience is good with a good bakery on the ground floor to chill among your frnds n family.

The room service is poor.The staff first given us the standard room. But after discussion and showing the type of room I booked he changed the room.

Decent heritage property located in central Jaipur. Spacious rooms with good overall comfort.

Restaurant staff needs to be trained to handle guest requests.

It’s an Haunted place . Kindly return my money .
